Gosh .. yesterday passed in a blur .. shopping, gardening, friends popping in .. Hardly had time to get on the net, let alone post a Step-up ..
Today a bit less frenetic :) Nice sunny start, although not particularly hot, but I had breakfast outside and then pottered about dead-heading roses and pinks .. Then a nice catch-up with tink on the phone .. and ow catching up here :)
Great to see Mel's house growing walls :) Lovely to have your house built from scratch and have things as you want them from the start!
Just going to hang loose today, although I might pop to a garden centre for a pot. I have a clematis that needs to be planted up .. it was originally destined for down in the garden, but it's so covered with such sweet smelling flowers I think I'd like to have it on the patio where I can smell the scent as I sit outside .. Then tomorrwo an early start .. off to Bakewell outdoor market with a friend. Went a couple of weeks ago and bought some beautiful peaches which were ripe and sweet and juicy .. so often these days from the supermarket they're flown in from somewhere, hard as rocks .. and seem to have a brief minute when they're ripe before going mushy, which occurs when you're sleeping .. lol
Which reminds me .. I need petrol .. so will need to pop out and fill the tank ..
Such a bore, gassing up .. eh Chiefie? .. lol
Oh .. and we miss your tweets .. tink says she hopes it wasn't the chilli gotcha!! .. lol .. So get that attractive old behind in gear .. and twitter to us tomorrow :))

A busy few days for me too Caryl. I've been running on empty myself, barely time to check in. My kids are at a birthday party and it feels strange to be childless for a few hours. They will return soon now though. Time does seem to fly doing things that you normally cannot get to with them underfoot.
Grocery shopping done, meal plan is done for the week....oh and yes, we will be on vacation at the end of the week. We won't be travelling to far out of the way. However, we will be visiting Mickey Mouse at Magic Kingdom the end of the week. A few days out of dodge for a while. I don't have a blackberry (not that hi-tech) so I won't be online for 3 days. Nice to step away from the norm.
This week should go by pretty quickly. We have activity going on nearly every night after work hours. However, I too am hoping for the return of Meat's tweets.
As he has reserved his right to remain silent. I hope he has plenty to say after this weekend. Otherwise, I shall leave greatness alone to write and conjure up his masterpiece.
Glad you had a nice weekend Caryl. I finally got to celebrate my birthday with my friends. Had a lovely steak with garlic prawns and a couple of alcoholic mixed drinks. Ha ha I remember this time it doesn't like that other word. Then came bacck to my place and had a liqueur coffee. Yesterday was a beautiful day so I went to to lie by the pool for a bit, but the water's way too cold for swimming. Have a nice holiday Suzie. Carole
