Happy weekends everyone .. and to those in the USA .. Happy Independence Day!

Despite the forecast today has started beautifully sunny and warm .. no particular plans for today. The weather is so lovely that I think it's just relaxing in the garden while we have the chance!! Tomorrow is soon enough to go to the shops and get whatever bits and pieces miht be needed .. today we have a steak pie in the fridge, salad stuff, and plenty of strawberries :)

Hope all those celebrating today have great weather to enjoy it .. and can just ..

Seize the apron and the barbecue!!!!




And don't forget to take pictures!!!

Glad you had nice weather today Caryl, so did I have here on the Gold Coast.  Did a bit of shopping, had my hair done for tonight and lay by the pool for a bit since it was such a beautiful day.  We had our night out for the financial new year tonight.  Got picked up by my friends, had a champagne waiting for me when I got in the car which we drank driving to the restaurant.  Got to the Thai restaurant and had a beautiful berry ****tail.  Had a lovely banquet with quite a variety of food, some wine, more champagne and finished off with a lovely coffee laced with frangelica liqueur.  A lovely night all up.  But I feel a little nostalgiec, this time last year I was in Bath in England seeing Meat in concert, and nothing on earth compares to that.

Sounds great :) .. and I like Frangelico .. a nice nutty flavour to enhance all kinds of c-o-c-k-tails!

Just watched Serena Williams win Wimbledon .. now back to watch some mens' doubles ..  the one sure tennis to remain exciting these days, although the Williams' match was surprisingly entertaining tennis :)

lol .. and I see that the rather prudish system on this forum software IS fooled by inserting hyphens in the words that ruffle its somewhat Victorian petticoats :))

Ha ha Caryl, I forgot it didn't allow that word, I just type without thinking.  So I guess that other word starting with f is definitely out of the question!!!!!!  Enjoy your tennis, I don't watch it myself.  Our Leyton is out now unfortunately.
