Couldn't Have Said It Better

It's the perfect lead track for the CD ... a powerful duet that showcases the talents of not only Meat, but Patti Russo as well.  The interraction is fantastic, and their voices compliment each other perfectly.
I love singing along to the song on the CD.  Let's just say one of my copies has found a permanent place in my car CD player
But, on a more personal level, it will always have a special place in my heart.  As I mentioned in my review of the show at the Mohegan Sun, I can still remember that feeling of excitement and overwhelming pride when I heard Meat proudly announce that the song had made it to the radio stations in the area ... and then standing there with my mouth wide open watching him and Patti sing it live in front of me for the very first time.
Two weeks after that (on September 15th), my parents and I suffered a devastating flood at our family flag store.  It took a couple of months, but we completely recovered, and were able to reopen.  During the time we were closed, I couldn't stop listening to CHSIB .. because every time I heard it, it reminded me of that magical evening at the Mohegan Sun and gave me the escape from reality that I truly needed.
And for that Meat .. once again from the bottom of my heart, I say thank you very very much thank you !!!

Very cool story Vicki, isn't it cool that Meat's music can help us through some really horrible things?  I love CHSIB, particularly the "I see the angels" bit, Meat's "ssshhh" and Patti's screamed "I love you" toward the end.  I know it will always be one of my favorite Meat songs simply because my son loves it so much- it was the first Meat song he learned, and he loves to sing it on the way to school in the morning.  (Not to mention that the vid can't be beat- that jacket.......)

Thanks Sherrie .. and I absolutely agree with you.  It's very cool   I love the "ssshhh" part .. at the Mohegan Sun, I wanted to melt when he tilled his head with his eyes closed and held his finger up to his lips .....

It sounds like your son has great taste in music   The video is a classic .. and I want that jacket now !!

I think CHSIB is an awesome song as well Just in the off chance that Meat should ever come to this forum, I wil not repeat what I said about Meat the first time I saw the vid of this song some of the RoL list know what this is, and if you really want to know, PM me and I'll tell you       I agree, I absolutely love the sweet innocent smile on Meats face as he looks up, during the lines about(the angels)  and that sssh is just so.. sexy   J.
