Personally, i'd like to see him NOT GET KILLED!!!!!
Also would like him to have a serious love interest and maybe a little action...

Lead role in a romantic comedy

Or in a major role co-starring with Mel Gibson as villans in the newest James Bond action thriller   Just the thought of seeing Meat, Mel Gibson and Pierce Brosnan together in one movie ... oh yeah !!!   Bring on that holy water .........

Undoubtedly Vicki- a romantic comedy is a must for Meat!  (Though I fear I might spontaneously combust!)  That "Polish Spagetti" (right?) certainly sounds promising, I hope that sees the light of day at some point.  I also vote for some sort of buddy comedy with George Clooney (almost as sexy as Meat, but just doesn't match up in the charisma dept).  Of course, Meat gets the girl!

As long as Meat doesn't combust   I definitely agree about Polish Spaghetti ... I wonder whatever happened about that

I like that idea of a buddy comedy with George Clooney !!

I've had a role in mind for a couple of years that I'd like to see Meat play .. and ideally for a TV series. He'd be a criminal psychologist .. American or Canadian, on loan to Scotland Yard  .. helping the police solve crimes through making sense of what drives the killers .. developing psychological profiles etc .. and based centrally he would be part of a team that was sent to different locations around the UK .. which would give it an added bonus for US audiences.

A strong, intellectual man with a powerful presence and a wicked sense of humour .. appearing a little arrogant because he knows he's right .. very attractive to women but a little bemused that he is .. I can just see him in this role ..

Like the original Cracker but without the dishevelled appearance and the drink/gambling presence .. perhaps closer to the current UK TV show Bloodline but with more gravitas .. they stole my idea!! .. lol

What a good idea Caryl!  As I was reading your post, I could totally see Meat looking all intense and insightful and deep in thought- that would be a great role for him! A weekly series would be triple cool- a new chance every week to see Meat- oh my!

I love all your ideas ladies. I also think Meat would be awesome as a character on "The Sopranos". or a gangster from the '30s-40s like in the promo shots for CHSIB,  as long as they didn't kill him...    I'd also love for him to be the leading man in another movie, something like Roadie, where the boy gets the girl in the end..  a nice mushy romantic movie for us girls  J.

Yes .. I can see him in it too :) A role which would give opportunity for intense insights .. and some humour .. and some romantic interest .. there could be an undercurrent running throughout the series with a female in the team .. plus each week something a little more that sometimes results in something .. sometimes not .. women he meets in the course of investigations .. drawn like moths to a flame by his powerful presence .. whilst the character himself just doesn't really see it .. his focus is on the case itself .. and he doesn't see himself as powerful .. just right.

And storylines that need at least 90 minutes actual screen time to do them justice, so each is like a small movie.

Cary and Heat, I think you should get onto writting that script ASAP! I can picture it now.. and am really digging this idea. "Michael Aday PI". show slogan " beware criminals: We'll get you, even if it means going to Hell and Back!!"    J.

I also agree with all of you. I wish that he would be the main character and wouldn't get killed off. A romatic comedy would be great.

Jeanie, I've also thought he would be great on the "Sopranos". I think he would make a great love inerest with Carmella.

Great idea Sherry "The Sopranos", but I know it would just lead to another "Meat character death", because you know Tony would never stand for that, kind of competition.   J.

Hi... I see you're all talking of imaginary roles for Meat, however, I would adore to see a remake of one of my favourite films...'A Few Good Men' with Meat taking Jack Nicholsons role as the colonel...think Jack played the roll fantastically but I would love to see Meat give it a bash too!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssse stop killing him and I pleeeeaase give him a major role. Something with a little romance because he has a unique way of flirtation (I hope it is the right word). This romance can be settled in a comady or drama that challanges him and surprises us.
