Welcome to ROL the best place in town, I hope you enjoy your visits, Son of pattiandmeat. You will be treated like family. It is nice to see that the Loaf has reached Turkey at last, so go out and spread the news that the GREAT Meat Loaf is alive and well.
Being called 'little' I can take (you must have got used to it too Anne, after ALL these years) Accusing me of coming from BLACKBURN is pushing it.
Hello Batty1
How I wish I was in Colorado. Unfortunately, I'm not I was born in Manchester, England, and now live in a little town just outside of Manchester, quite near to Blackburn but not in itAnne does get her facts muddled...tis an age-related thing I guess...very sad.
As for Lady B, I think there is only one. I have certainly seen the name here.
Oh well, that's my life history taken care of lol!!!

Well it is good to meet another Lady B. When did you get into Meat Loaf? I'v been a fan since th late sixties when I saw him in Central Park in New York at the Shakespeare festival. I spent my weekends in the park as a teenager.
I have always wanted to go to Central Park, particularly in the fall, I bet it's fabulous. I bet you remember that concert "as if it happened only yesterday"!
For me, 1981 was the year. Dead Ringer was a huge hit here, and I remember seeing the video of Meat and Cher. I used to re-enact it in my bedroom, and find the biggest cuddliest teddybear I had to play Meat lol! I must point out that I was only 10 years old at the time! Although, I still like singing into my hairbrush even now!
Hey, that's makes it my 25th anniversary of being a Meat fan! I must celebrate...now where did I put my hairbrush??
Take care
Batgirl x

It is great to have the younger Bats being a part fo Loafdom. I use to be here all by my self, and it was lonely here. You can come to Colorado we need a few "sane" people in this state. They are into everyone but Meat. Once in a great while you hear a Meat Loaf song on the radio. That ain't enough for me. So, I hold my own concerts in my home office where I have his whole collection of music and movies. I call it the dungeon. I'm obsessed you know!!
