Meat was the first guest on this new programme on Childrens' ITV, designed to encourage children and adults to read together. A thousand books from each programme will be given to children who otherwise might not have books.
Meat was marvellous .. He came into the bear's tour bus saying, "All tour buses should be like this!" .. and as he sat down and pulled the book from the Bookaboo bag, said "Now first .. old people have to wear glasses to read" and popped his on .. lol
He was so sweet with the rock puppy .. talking to him as naturally as if he were a real small person sitting on the sofa next to him .. facial expressions and small asides to Bookaboo .. and his voices for the wolf and the lamb were spot on .. a big deep gruff voice for the wolf, and a little, high, timorous voice for the lamb.
Years ago there was a puppet on childrens' Saturday morning TV .. Gordon the Gopher .. and you really felt Gordon was real .. Meat achieved the same in the way he interacted with Bookaboo.
It was a lovely story, beautifully delivered, and at the end when Bookaboo returned to his drumkit on stage, you had two shots of Meat standing and cheering him on .. much as he does on stage when Paul's playing a solo .. lol ..
Lovely TV .. brilliantly executed .. made me smile all the way through.
And of course he looked gorgeous :)) All in black with a backstage pass for the Bookaboo concert round his neck :)

Yes it was really lovely :) .. I've no idea of the series will be taken up by a USA network for childrens' viewing, but I will get it transferred to DVD and will explore whether I can get it into a format your players will accept. If I can I'll post the news here.
There's a backstage clip with a couple of extracts here:-
