And really he knew from the start that there could be no short-cuts .. but then he's a professional and always gives any performance everything he's got. Doesn't stop a man having the occasional stray thought of making it simpler course .. he is human, bless him  .. but they were only fleeting smilesmile

And some acts were harder to get than others .. and some had to be turned away .. however much he rated their efforts and reluctant he was to disappoint them ....  (He's never forgotten his own early days in the business and the grinding rounds of auditions ...)
