Happy Mondays .. and another month hurtling towards a conslusion!!
A weekend of pouring rain with some outbreaks of sunshine on Saturday, but none at all yesterday. However, I had lots of visitors, and managed to get the pipework to the outside tap replaced .. so today I shall purchase a hose, and when it stops raining I shall no longer have to carry watering can after watering can out to the garden to keep the plants happy :) The guy I made contact with via Freecycle also came yesterday and took the old treadmill away .. so more space in the bedroom :)
Today we're off to Bakewell market for a bit of a browse, and so the children can feed the ducks. Forecast is mainy dry and sunny with the chance of the occasional shower .. so fingers crossed! Then on the way back into Sheffield I shall get the hose .. one of those lightweight curly ones that you can just hook over a bracket, rather than the heavy ones you need to keep winding back onto a reel. It'll be nice too to be able to water the hanging baskets without holding a watering can up high and having the water running down my arm .. lol ..
So .. seize the day .. and for those labouring in the studio .. have fun whilst you prepare to dazzle us :)
