It's been dull but warm most of the day .. but at the end of the afternoon the sun has come through and it's a glorious end to the day.
We had a leisurely start .. went to a garden centre this morning .. then on to the prettiest pub with a lovely garden but a rather surly innkeeper .. lol, where we had a drink but had to move on for lunch as they didn't serve food. Found another pub, less attractive building and no garden, but served the most marvellous food .. and had bacon and mushroom baguettes ..
Then a drive around .. found a great farm shop which specialises in meat run by a dear old yorkshireman who could talk the hind leg off a donkey .. I swear he must breath through gills as he never paused to draw breath :))
Home to plant up today's finds .. and this eening we're going to our favourite curry house for a meal.
And tomorrow? .. probably hang loose .. although we may take in a car boot sale in the morning :)
So it'll be seize the pennies and keep a keen eye out for bargains!!
