Rocker Meat Loaf happily reports that he won't have to undergo surgery for the inter-vocal-cord cyst that forced him to cancel his Three Bats tour last year. "When Steven Tyler and Rod Stewart had it, they had to go in and have a little surgery done, but my cyst popped after four weeks, so that was good. They're just worried about a little white scar, but they've released me to start doing vocal warm-ups."

Nothing formal announced yet Nadine, although Meat has said in PMs that he will be recommencing the tour this year .. Australia for sure as he was due there .. possibly Asia (where he was also due to do shows) and Europe, though whether this is to cover the shows he cancelled in the UK or will take in mainland Europe we'll have to wait and see.
I'm just thrilled that he feels confident he'll be on stage again

This is so good to hear. I am glad that he doesn't have to have the surgery. Hopefully he has gotten some much needed rest, spent some time with his family, and is ready to send his magic our way. Hope everyone gets a chance to see him again.
