That's OK Draconia .. you aren't a pain at all. I guess you mean here in the forum? We have music on all the ROL pages, but that's always been a signature feature of our site
You can turn the music off in here, although you need to do it on each page. If you look up above the message window, you'll see the grey active control bar which enablde you to turn the background music off.
Our forum software isn't sophisticated enough that we can give you the option of a totally silent forum .. and a lot of people like the background singing .. but hope the option I've given you meets what you need Otherwise the only thing I can suggest is you turn the volume right down on your computer until you leave .. that's what I used to do when I was spending any length of time on a post before Vicki installed the control panel.

If you turn the music off i do hope you don't have Justin Timberlake playing on the CD at home Play WTTN loud in the background instead - I usually just have the speaker volume down and have Meaty CD in the media player with me headphones on - it when the rest of 'em start throwing things at me I reaslise i'm singine
