The shout box is at the foot of each page, and allows you to see how many visitors we have on line, and make contact if you want to chat. There is a link there as well so you can go to the Tinkerhut to chat.   It's the same Shoutbox at the foot of each page, so if you move between sections and threads, it goes with you and retains the current conversation.  

Depending on your systems security settings, to ensure your name keeps automatically coming up while you're shouting, you may need to enter the host site's address to allow cookies on it. To do this with Windows Explorer  pull up your Explorer Select Properties, Select Privacy and hit Edit Enter http://webapps.nerdsonsite.com  where it says Address of website, and hit Allow and OK   Otherwise you'll have to keep typing your name in .. and the box doesn't accept your message without a name.

The same forum guidelines apply to the shoutbox, and moderators will remove any messages which breach them.  

Tag line refers to the entries you make in the shoutbox. You'll see the option to "delete this tag " after your latest entry, which means you can delete this yourself if you want to.
